Birth announcements
Do people send these and is it ok to send them at around 6 weeks? Going back and forth ordering them

Birth announcements
I've received them and was always happy to. Love seeing pics - especially if I haven't had a chance to see the new baby. I don't recall how long after the babies were born I've received them, but I don't see why 6 weeks would be a problem

I send them. I love them and it's a memento. 6 weeks is fine! By the time you do your photo shoot, get the edited images back and upload them to get the announcement it's about that anyway

Definitely! I'm embarrassed by how late I sent mine out- with her Christening thank yous!  I just kept forgetting to do it! People still appreciated them.

I skipped them- I had them picked out long before my dd arrived but in the end it just didn't happen.

My friends & family will be receiving my announcements around 6 weeks. The baby is still a newborn. Go for it.

I sent them. DS was born in November so it was a combo announcement/Christmas card.

Honestly for people who use professional photos I think it's almost impossible to get them out before then. I had them out just over 4 weeks this time because I was a crazy person, but I often get them 2-3 months after the baby is born
