Candy
I would like to make a candy buffet. Has anyone ever did one? I would like to have a theme for a bridal shower. Maybe white and blush. Have any ideas or have any tips?

Re: Candy
I did one for my son's first birthday, it was a Dr. Seuss theme. I got apothecary jars from Michael's and filled them with red and blue candies. My only suggestion would be to make sure you have a good variety of different candies. I also had a mix of tall and small jars so that it didn't look too uniform.

Re: Candy
Definitely go to Michael's for the jars and make sure you enlist a few people so you can print and use a few 40% off one item coupons.
I've done candy/dessert buffets for a few events- my wedding, a friend's bridal shower, and most recently my DD's christening. We've ordered candy in bulk online and some from Party City as well since they separate candy out by color there. But they mostly only have hard candies at Party City so if you're looking for more of a variety, you're going to have to look online.
ETA: We didn't go crazy for DD's christening, and we did a lot of desserts in addition to some candies... it was a pink and gold theme.

ETAA: I don't have great pics from the bridal shower, but it was a nautical theme. We didn't stick to one color, though we did mostly blue.

I also really liked the mini chalkboard signs from Michael's- just make sure to get chalkboard pens as well!
