Who do you have phone landline service with?
I don't want to get rid of a landline phone. Right now we have Optimum, even though we don't have tv service with them. We have Direct Tv. So for phone and internet, it is $100. Seems crazy. My internet is slow and 9 times out of 10, when I pick up phone, no dial tone. I know they have things called Omma and similar devices, but I am so confused how they work.

We use Verizon Fios for internet, TV and phone.
They are awesome.
Fast internet, great TV with a lot more channels than I got with Cablevision, and the phone works fine

Still with cablevision was going to switch to verizon because I just switched to direct TV but I was going to cost just as much money and I was going to be charged an $80 installation.
Was looking into one of this phone lines like magic jack but havent followed through with it.

This is my situation. Just spoke to Verizon and it will be more than optimum for internet and phone. I forgot about magic jack. I was just reviewing Ooma and Vonage online.

Same. Although we never use our land line, it came in the bundle.
