Do you ever write reviews for products/purchases?
When you buy stuff, (like Amazon, or many others), do you write reviews on their website about the item your bought?

Yes on occasion.
Usually only if I feel one of the extremes about it- as in, it was really great, amazing, holy grail and I need to spread the word, or it was horrible and I need to warn people
Same with hotels on TripAdvisor and restaurants on Yelp

I am the same. If some is really great or if something is really terrible I will review it.

I try to. I tend to rely on reviews so I would want to offer the same kind of help to another potential buyer.

Do you ever write reviews for products/purchases?
I never really did, until recently - tried a new shampoo and conditioner that was THE WORST product of any kind that I had ever used. That I felt a need to review. I do read and rely on reviews fairly frequently.
ETA: I use OpenTable for restaurant reservations a lot and usually try to post reviews on there

If I had a really good experience say in a hotel or restaurant I will post a review on trip advisor etc. I will partake in some clothing retailers surveys if they bait me with the hope that I might win a gift card to their store etc I should review more as it annoys me when websites do not have reviews - i.e H&M does not have reviews and as I do 99% of my clothing shopping online this would be a bonus for me.

Yes, because I rely on them a lot when I make purchases, and I like to write.
Though I had an annoying experience which has altered my view on the usefulness of reviews. I bought one of those spiralizers for veggies- an inexpensive hand one. And even for the price it was a piece of crap and I cut myself on it. I wrote an objective review, then I got an email from the owner who asked me to take it down, saying someone was trying to sabotage them and they sent me a slightly better model (also no good). So I took my review down but regretted it after because I am sure I was not the first person to do that (all the reviews were good) and people ended up buying a bad product.

I do on occasion and I feel like should do more because I really rely on reviews when deciding upon a product or a destination.
