Bloomingdales return question
I received a Kate Spade bag from Bloomingdales as a Christmas gift. It had been ordered online. The zipper on the bag does not work right. I was planning on taking it to the store to exchange for the same bag. I went onto the Bloomingdales website and saw a similar (but not the exact same) bag, that I like a little better. When I checked to see if the one I like better is available in the store, it comes back that it's not. So, can I bring the defective bag back to the store and have them order the other one for me? Or, can they issue me a store credit that I can then use to order the bag myself? Any other way to do this, that I am not thinking of?

Bloomingdales return question
I would think you could return the bag and get a gift card, which you could then apply to the new bag. However, I have no idea if that it Bloomingdale's policy or not.

You can definitely get a store credit to use to order the bag online. I am not sure if the stores have the capacity to order items that are only on the website but they will give you a gift card if you return the bag to the store.
