new phone

I got a new Iphone for Xmas. Dumb ? but how do I activate it. I am still using my old one now. Do I just call Verizon?

If you currently have a smartphone and will stay with the same provider, then all you need to do is take the SIM card out of the old phone and put it in the new one.

With Verizon that should activate the new phone automatically.

If you want to bring all your old information along, then you'll need to back up your data to iCloud (or laptop) first then restore the data.
