Shipping in time for Christmas
I just realized that i am still waiting on a few orders. I went back and looked and most are definitely supposed to be here by Christmas but i realized that American Girl said orders must be placed by 12/13 to guarantee Christmas delivery and I ordered at 8 am on 12/14. Anyone have experience with how fast they are shipping lately? I have been on hold for the last 34 minutes to talk to someone.....

Does it show it was shipped at all when you go into your account? IME American Girl is one of the slowest companies out there to ship their items (along with Kohls and Shutterfly!)

It still shows in progress. I just spoke to someone and she said that it should ship today and i would most likely have it in time. Fingers crossed!

Good luck! Hopefully they are shipping it UPS and not that crummy UPS/Fedex/USPS smart post service!

they are shipping it fedex ground but it still hasnt shipped per their system. I am so annoyed, missed their guarantee window by about 6 hours.

I'm surprised it didn't ship yet...I ordered on December 17th and received my order yesterday with regular free shipping...

Fed Ex Ground is typically 3 days to get from MN to NY, so it should come in time!

I am losing all faith in AG and getting more mad by the minute considering all the $ i have spent with the mover the years. It still says in progress and does not indicate it has shipped. If it doesn't go out today i don't see how i will get it by Saturday. This completely stinks!
I understand that stores are experiencing higher volume of orders, etc. but they should prepare for that. They are a toy company of course they are going to be busy for Christmas. This is really unacceptable in my opinion.
