Strep and meds
DS has strep again. He just got over it 2 weeks ago. He was on meds for 10 days. As soon as he started the meds he was fine by that night. Today I get a call from the nurse at 10AM that DS threw up and is warm. I pick him up from school and went right to the doctors. He started meds again. He wants to go back to school tomorrow. The doctor said now it's changed and 12 hours o meds he should be fine, but since I picked him up from school they may not be happy.
Should I just keep him home even though he hates to miss it and will be fine or send him? I'm thinking I should keep him home even though I know by tomorrow morning he is fine and won't be contagious.

I wouldn't send him tomor. Plus it's Friday, so I'd take it easy and he'll be great by Monday.

If he had a fever, I wouldn't send him back tomorrow.
If he didn't have a fever, was fine and has had the antibiotics I would (and I have for strep since they aren't contagious).
DS is home now with a virus. He had a low grade fever (below the threshold where you have to be 24 hrs fever free) yesterday and seemed fine by evening. We were on the fence of sending him back but, he wasn't himself this morning so he's home with DH today.
