saying goodbye to other companies
i've officially given my resignation.
tomorrow i have my drug test with FedEx.
i have a start date of 12/19.
the company i'm working with now is a small, family-owned plumbing company. we have connections/relationships with other small local companies. there are two that i work with a lot. the owners of each are great guys; we talk on the phone a lot, refer work back and forth, i've also met them both and their families.
i'd like to not just vanish. i'd like to reach out to them, especially at this time of year... to say thanks and to say a proper good bye. i'm just not 100% sure how to do it.
suggestions/ideas, please.

Christmas Card seems like the perfect excuse, write them a letter updating them on where you are.

I sent my clients an email on my last day at my prior firm letting them know I was leaving the company and linking them to my linked in/email they can reach me.
