Grammar question

We moved about a month ago and some distant relatives and friends don't have our new address. I am sending Christmas cards and I was thinking of jotting a note next to our return address to let people know. How should I word it?

We moved! Or
We've moved!

I'm leaning towards we've moved but I'm doubting myself. Help!

Re: Grammar question

You could say both.

'We moved' is US English. 'We've moved' is also used in US English, but it would be used more in UK English. 'We moved' would not be used in UK English.

I would choose 'We've moved' because this is what Present Perfect should be used for-- events that happened in the past that have a result in this moment.
