7.5m pregnant. What to wear to DH's holiday party
I was planning not to go but DH insists that I go. Got a sitter for Fri night with nothing to wear.
Has anyone seen any cute maternity dresses at the stores?
I recently bought a bunch of sweaters and shirts. They aren't especially dressy but various shirt/sweater combos. Simple charcoal gray or light gray with cowl neck.
Do you think a sweater and tights with boots will be sufficient since I'm pregnant?
Last yr I wore a shimmer dress with 5 inch heels.

That's fine! Dress it up with a nice, long necklace and other jewelry and your perfect. Go and enjoy!

Do you mean a sweater dress and tights?
Or a sweater and leggings?
I am picturing a sweater with tights and your ass showing.

I actually have both combos.
I bought this gray textured dress from Ann Taylor in the fall that I can wear with tights. Tried to find a pic but it isn't on the website anymore.
Or I could wear a sweater with leegings.

I think the textured dress w/ tights sounds slightly more dressy/festive.

Had a party like this last year when I was pregnant. Got this dress and felt awesome in it:
Amazon Dress
I think it would work at really any later stage of pregnancy. Hugs in the right places but I felt great, dressy even though it's basically a stretchy knit material. Looked great with black tights and shoes, I added a sparkly belt at the top of the bump and a necklace, and was super comfortable and actually felt good. Highly recommend!

Wow I LOVE that. Especially in the burgunday color. If I was pregnant, I would SO rock that! But on a side note, how fake is that bump on the model? Esp in the Burgundy picture. LOL Looks like she stuffed a chair pad or something under it.

I wore this exact dress to two weddings. Fit and looked great, if I don't say so myself lol. Very comfy too!
