Gifts for SO
What are you getting for SO this year? I always struggle with DH - he is a musician and always liked music great, but I never know the specific brands or gear he needs. I feel the same way about tools... Never know what he has or doesn't. Trying to gain some inspiration from your ideas!

My DH is impossible!!!
And I have his bday and christmas next month
I got him a Bar Cart for his "den"
I am getting him a Bose Speaker with an Echo Dot for the bathroom (our last bluetooth speaker died)
I picked up one of those big water cups from Bed bath that stay cold for 24 hours (He uses a lot of ice lol)
A 6 ft long Lightening plug bc the ones that come with the iphones are too short to reach the night stands
I'm going to get him a Gift Certificate for the car wash - hes obsessed with keeping his truck clean
2 Bottles of cologne
I'm taking him to a nice restaurant hes been wanting to try for his bday
That's it so far. Big ticket items are the speaker and bar cart. Trying to find a few more little things

The Echo Dot for the bathroom is a good idea! Right now we have one of those battery operated shower radios, so this would be perfect for listening to the news when we're getting ready in the mornings.
DH needs a new coffee travel mug. I'm also trying to track down the Nintendo Classic, but so far no luck. He also wants a couple of albums.

When he wants something, he goes out and buys it. Same with me. Plus all our money is in a joint account. So it kind if defeats the purpose of buying a gift if I am paying for it wirh his money and him with mine.
So instead we buy play tickets or something pricey we normally don't do on a regular basis as our "gift" to each other

We usually give each other small gifts, but for the most part we buy what we want. We usually try to do a trip together as our gift to each other. We just came back from the Caribbean for our birthdays and planning a trip somewhere in January.

dh's two best friends are going to orlando for wrestlemania this year, and had an extra ticket. I bought it for him and my brother works for a hotel chain and was able to get them a cheap room to stay in for the weekend :) Just need to get airfare!

Nothing. Same as Nell but we don't even bother to do anything at all. It's hard enough bc my DH and his mom's birthdays are right before Xmas.

My dh is a big board game fan. We shopped local today and went to his favorite game store. They had 50% off everything, and Dh had enough points from tournaments to earn an additional 10% plus $20 store credit. We walked away with almost $200 in games for $60 with all the credit and additional coupons.

He into Football? I got my DH and DS a joint gift - tickets to the Pinstripe Bowl at Yankee Stadium on 12/28. Dont know who is playing yet but its always a Big 10 team.
Also got him a new coat and a GC for the Ancestry.com DNA test.

DH is so hard to shop for. Whenever he sees something he buys it.
He told me he wanted a new lawnmower this year... No guidance on which one or anything though

Clothes are typically my default. He doesn't do clothes shopping for himself so 1-2x a year (birthday and x-mas) he gets clothes. He buys pretty much everything else himself.

DH is hard to shop for because if he wants something, he just goes and buys it. This year I got him:
North Face fleece
Dallas Cowboy ornament - he is a huge fan
Arbonne shaving cream/after shave lotion
lounge pants for around the house
Ecco dress shoes - on sale at Nordstrom 50% off this weekend
for his "big gift, I ended up getting Giants/Cowboy tickets for 12/11. I am a huge Giants fan and DH a Cowboy fan. A friend was selling her tickets for the game so I had to get them.
