Trump Thanksgiving message
"It is my prayer, that on this Thanksgiving, we begin to heal our divisions and move forward as one country, strengthened by a shared purpose and very, very common resolve," Trump said.
"We have just finished a long and bruising political campaign. Emotions are raw and tensions just don’t heal overnight," he continued.
"It doesn’t go quickly, unfortunately, but we have before us the chance now to make history together to bring real change to Washington, real safety to our cities, and real prosperity to our communities, including our inner cities. So important to me, and so important to our country. But to succeed, we must enlist the effort of our entire nation.
"This historic political campaign is now over," he added. "Now begins a great national campaign to rebuild our country and to restore the full promise of America for all of our people."
This was actually a sane, coherent message....

because someone else probably wrote it. The only time he makes any real sense is when he goes off a teleprompter.

I know.... but I am trying SOOO hard to give him any amount of credit for anything he does....
I also have no problem if he does use a speech writer. Every president has speech writers for most of their public speeches.

Yeah he definitely did not write that. And even still, he is not a very good speaker IMO. And his penchant for sentence fragments keeps popping up despite the speech writing. "So important. So important." I hate that about his speech patterns.

Well they're using it as the reason to not give him credit for it. If that's the case you can't give any other previous presidents credit for any of their speeches/messages. Like I've said previously, even if this guy does do any good for us there is alwys going to be people finding something wrong with it. This should not have even been a topic, what's there to truthfully discuss?

Actually, if you read the comments, the OP was trying to be positive about something pertaining to Don. I think that's a fine topic.
I was commenting that even though this was a speech writer's speech (and that is fine, I know all presidents do this), I do not care for his presentation or style of speaking with all those sentence fragments. So what.

Of course all Presidents have speech writers and now we should all send them letters of thanks. I hope they write every spoken word for him for the next 4 years so we can be spared listening to him speak in incomplete and run on sentences. I also think the writers should give him a vocabulary words to practice each work so he can use other words than tremendous, incredible and wrong all the time.
