It's just a GTG with a bunch of us & I bring my camera, take pictures of everyone's kid (and now bellies since I've included this board ). I've taken a few pregnancy shots for people on & off the board. It's practice for me & you guys get the pictures.
Here's some info:
To answer the question :
1- No you don't have to be on LIF to go
2- No it doesn't cost anything. I have a digital camera.
3- Yes you can bring a friend, husband, etc.
4 - I post the pictures on kodakgallery when I'm done - you can print out your own or I can email you the raw photos.
5 - If you are coming just to meet up with moms & you don't want pictures, please just tell me not to take them of you or your child. I don't want anyone to feel uncomfortable.
5A. If you hate a picture that's in the album, tell me so I can delete them.
6 - If you bring your camera, I could probably give you pointers on taking better pictures
7- No promises on good pictures, since I'm just an amateur.

This is awesome.
I have a wedding to attend on Saturday so if on Sunday I feel up to it, I will come.
Love for you to take a picture of my belly....
And I must disagree with your list that you posted (#7)....you take GREAT pictures......I think you are far better in capturing moments better than some professionals..so I wouldn't call you an amateur....

I'm sorry I'm going to have to postpone the shoot. My camera is going in for repairs. Nikon issued a service advisory on the Green Blinking Light of Death (yes, that's the actual name of it.). Luckily Nikon is located in Melville so my mom is dropping it off today.
As soon as I get it back, I'll set up another one. I'm so sorry for any inconvience this caused.
