1st birthday gift question
A family we met at daycare who we are friendly with thru our daughters but not super close to invited us to the first birthday party of the younger sibling to my daughter's friend.
The party is at a restaurant. Three of us will be attending.
Do I give money or a gift? How much is appropriate?

Re: 1st birthday gift question
I'd try to give a gift. I think a gift card would be fine, too. I'd feel weird about giving money.

Re: 1st birthday gift question
I think a gift is more appropriate if you don't know the family well. I'd spend somewhere between $50 and $75.
