Sizes for Kids Clothes
My daughter is 8 years old and she's outgrowing her size 7/8 clothes. The next size up at Children's Place is 10/12! They are huge on her! It's the same at Kmart and Target too. Does anyone know which stores carry a 9/10 and then 11/12? It's like they just skipped a size!

Osh kosh does as well. Children's place runs small. I measured pants from a bunch of different places and children's place and old navy ran smallest.

Lands end offers slim fit. Dd needs the length too and I am having a tough time because everything gets oddly wide.she is in a seven/eight now for the length. She still wears some old 3t pjs that are now short instead of pants. I am having trouble finding long length not wide clothing for her too.

Actually, she doesn't need the length. The size 7/8 are just getting a bit tight and a little short. The size 10/12 fit in the waist, but are so long. I'm 5 feet tall and they would probably fit me (if I was skinny!).

I never think to go to either one because she doesn't like jeans. She prefers leggings and sweat pants. I'll have to try them anyway. Thanks.

My kids don't own a single pair of jeans and most of their clothes are from Old Navy--they have a ton of other pants

Gap and old navy have tons of sweats and leggings. Not just jeans
