I registered for the electric one with my 1st and honestly, it was a waste of money. It took up space (at least mine did) so I just started boiling them instead.

Total waste of money. Sterilize bottles, pacifiers, etc when you first buy them. Then just wash them.

Re: Bottle sterilizer

You don't need one. Once it comes out of the sterilizer, it's no longer sterile. You can boil them, if you want, but I also think that's a waste of time. I just put mine into the dishwasher.

I never used one. I just washed by hand or put in the dishwasher.

Never used one. I boiled hot water to sterilize them in the beginning. Then I just tossed them in the dishwasher!

None of the above. Bottles will not be steril the minute they hit air nor do they need to be. They just need to be clean.

I just boiled them- and I have more baby crap than one could ever use and even I opted out of a sterilizer!
