Which area to stay in San Diego?
Would like to be in walking distance to restaurants and maybe the water.
La Jolla? Coronado? Better to be downtown?
Already plan to stay 1 or 2 nights at Lego Hotel.

Which area to stay in San Diego?
If you want to walk to restaurants and such, stay downtown. Specifically near or in the Gaslamp quarter. Lots of restaurants. You do have to drive to the beach, but you can walk to food, drink, coffee etc.
