communicating with the dead??

it's a little long, but stick with me...

yesterday i had to send a new customer an email. his handwriting wasn't easy to make out so i wasn't surprised when it bounced back. i called him to have him give it to me over the pone. he didn't answer, so i left a voicemail. in my voicemail, not only did i say where i was calling from, but i also left my name.

when he called back, he asked, "is your name Lizbeth?" and he pronounced it correctly (being that it's so close to Elizabeth, a lot of people mispronounce it). i confirmed that's my name. he then asked, "is it spelled with a Z and a TH at the end?" i confirmed.

he said, "that's my sister's name." to which i commented something along the lines of "there aren't very many of us."

he continues with, "today is my sister's birthday... AND at work today i dealt with a new customer and her name is Lizbeth, as well."

clearly, i commented about "what are the odds?!"

he then said....







my sister died 14 years ago.




if that ain't a kick in the pants!!
his sister has passed, she has an slightly uncommon name, and on her birthday he speaks to TWO women with the same name.

makes you think...
