CSection and Tubal **How many kids" spin off?
So the "How many kids" post had me thinking, so I'd figured I'd ask, how many of you had your tubal done during your section? I have my consult to sign the papers in a few weeks and I am NOT questioning doing this AT ALL but I'm just curious if you found the tubal to prolong your healing.
This is our second and I am SO DONE! I was REALLY sick with my first and this time was worse so I can't imagine my body would be able to do it again. PLUS, this time has been a fairly difficult pregnancy on top of the hyperemesis. I am trying for a VBAC if it can happen but am open to the idea of a repeat section.
So, again, my question is, how did you feel after your tubal and did it prolong your recovery? I only have 12 weeks disability (privately insured union) so I want to make sure I'll be ok to go to back to work. PLUS, I'll have a 3.5 year old and want to make sure I can lift him if I need to.

Re: CSection and Tubal **How many kids" spin off?
I had a tubal with my last c section. Knew 1000% we were done. My recovery was better with my second csection/tubal. I had no issues, no extra healing time needed. My periods are no heavier then they were before and they are like clockwork every month. BUT i "think" there were a couple of posters on here that had some issues with their tubals i.e. healing time. Dont quote me on that though lol my experience was great.

I will have it after we have our second which will be in 1-2 years from now. But my SIL had it done after my niece was born and it did not prolong her recovery. She recovered the same as my older niece csection.

I had it done during my c section with my 3rd and it did not prolong my CS recovery.

IF (giant if) we were to have a second this would 100% be the plan.

If I have a third and repeat cs I would probably go for it too. Just wanted to say that I wasn't allowed to lift my 2.5yo after my cs regardless. Just something to be prepared for.
