C-Section Moms - 5 months pp
So I had a C-section in February with DD. I've been ok, no problems etc. except that over the last week, I've been having some pain in my belly area and now it feels like my muscles are all tender in that region. anybody know if this is normal - i.e. things are regenerating or something -- or if I should go to dr? The whole area is just sensitive now (almost cramping too and I'm not due for period right now)

I know everyone is different but I would mention it at your next OB/GYN visit if you don't feel any improvement in the next few months. I remember my OB said things could be off for at least 6 months or so. I was numb at first and did feel weird pain at times but now (my DD is 13 months) everything seems to be normal.

C-Section Moms - 5 months pp
I started having pain in one particular area a few months after my 1st csection. Took 2 years and 2 drs to find out I had endometriosis of my csection scar. My 1st dr "accidentally" sewed some of my endometrial tissue into my caection closure. I had it all removed during my 2nd csection from a new dr obviously lol

I had a strange sensation on the skin in the area for well over a year.

Thanks. When I was down on the floor with DD last night, I got an excruciating shooting pain. Called the dr. this morning and he wants me to go in for a pelvic sonogram-- I guess better safe than sorry, right?

I'm 3.5 years post-c-section and my skin is still numb to the touch. My OB says there's a good chance I'll never get feeling back there. No biggie.
However, I had a lot of sharp and shooting pains, though, inside (like my uterus, I guess) for many months. It was the nerves regenerating. It's very normal.
