Re: daycare questions
I can only help with #1 as I did not BF.
My daycare was a national chain center and it hardly ever closed.
Only Christmas Day, Thanksgiving Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, July 4th.
That was pretty much it.
They most certainly did not follow the school calendar with all those days off.

daycare questions
My daycare center does not follow the school calendar and only closes for federal holidays where most of the work force would be off. On some holidays, they close 1-2 hours early (Christmas Eve, Thanksgiving Eve, etc.) Can't answer #2 as DD was formula fed and I don't even remember how many ounces she drank at 7 months.

Re: daycare questions
1. My daycare does not. They are open year round and closed for the major holidays. They are also closed for one week in the summer, which they give amble notice of.
2. My 6mo just started daycare and I provide three 5oz bottles of pumped breastmilk for the day (hours are 8:30-5:30).

Year round daycare this is why I decided not to pull my dd and put her in another school. I believe I gave 4 or 5 bottles, 6ozs each and then I also.had a couple of bags of frozen milk at all times.

Most daycares dosnot follow a school calendar because they would never get non-teachers to enroll.
As for pumping - I never pumped but I would assume each kid is different so you can't go by others.

I think most are off for only federal holidays. DD's new daycare is a center and is only closed for major holidays, i.e. Thanksgiving, Christmas, July 4th, etc. DD's current daycare is run by a Synagogue so they are off for all of the Jewish holidays, which is super annoying, especially during the fall months.
At 7 months I would send DD with 4 bottles of 4 oz each of BM.

Re: daycare questions
We are now in a large center and they are closed the basic holidays. Our old in home took a week in July and a week in December.
