painting class

has anyone tried this for a date night or to hang out with friends?

what did you think?
was it worth it?
can it be a good date night?
can it be fun even if you don't drink?

I have done it 3 times and had so much fun! I've only done it with girlfriends, but it's great for a date night. You definitely don't have to drink to enjoy it. Go for it!

Same! My friend does them and we're gonna try and plan one when my sister and niece come in from Vegas

keep in mind that if you are doing it as a date night, and you live together, you will end up with 2 of the same things. i did a paint night with girlfriends and there was a couple there that turned their canvases perpendicular to what was needed for the painting and each painted half. that was really cute.

the two-of-a-kind has been part of what's kept me from pulling the trigger... but started thinking that if the experience was fun enough i might be willing to deal with two crappy paintings of the same thing lol.

but i like the idea of each painting half!!

alright.
there are some good groupons out there... and i have some points to cash in for $10 off groupon, which will make it even cheaper.

time to find a paint night near home or work!

i haven't gone yet, but have been dying to drag DH!

i actually like the idea of having two paintings of the same things! it's a matching set for the bedroom! (especially something like cherry blossom or a flower)

Well, as much as I had a great time, none of my paintings have made it to the wall (even though DH thinks they should). Mine are all in the basement. For me, it is much more about just having a fun night out - never expected to come home with something that I would display on my walls Chat Icon
