Windshield Repair v Windshield Replacement
So a stone hit my car windshield today and when I went on Safelite to schedule a repair I found out that they can somehow buff it out if its a small ding which it is so I scheduled a repair. DH wants me to get the whole windshield replaced as he saids you will see the area the area that was repaired. I don't want to spend the cash so is it worth it??

I drive a lot to my office, so unfortunately I get lots of rocks on the windshield.
I've always gotten them repaired, you can barely tell. If you look real hard or tell someone else where it is then you can see it a bit. Otherwise, not really.

I was always told they cannot repair certain locations cause the glare on the patch spot can be bad.

Omg def get the whole thing replaced. All they do is fill it in and it's still very visible and annoying.
Your insurance should cover it in full. I used safelite too and I will never go to the Huntington one again. Commack/Hauppauge one was so much better and they didn't f up my windshield like Huntington did.
They will also come to you at your office or house. Etc.
