When did your baby start teething?
I know all the sites say about 4 months or later to start teething but I feel like it starts earlier. I know it's crazy early but my 6 week old DD is unusually fussy, drooling a lot, chewing on her hands and anything that goes near her mouth- bibs, burp cloths, toys, etc. could this be the start? I mean I know they probably won't break through for a few more weeks, but I'm just wondering if this is the beginning of her teething.

Early- like 2 months. She chomps on everything and we call her princess drools-a-lot. The fussiness is on and off. She's 6 months and I just noticed the bottom two are going to break through any second. Soooo 4 months of this so far!

Ohhh boy! So looking forward to months and months of this! Lol! Yeah It sounds like how DD is acting too- it was just all of a sudden- only wants to be held by mom and drooling like crazy.

Good luck! DD hates teethers of any kind but she'll munch on a burp cloth for hours.

It's definitely possible!
I have a friend who has triplets and at the two month appointment one of them had two teeth already!

When did your baby start teething?
He cut his first 2 teeth on his first birthday. He was a drooling mess/hands in his mouth since birth. Lol.

Yes I had asked my ped about this. She said the drooling/hands in mouth is common at that age and not necessarily a sign of teething. She said at that age their salivary glands really develop hence the drooling. They also discover their hands at that age and putting them in their mouths is their way of exploring them. Dd was drooling a lot and hands on mouth before 3 months. She didn't cut a single tooth until after her first bday.

Yeah I did read that this is when they "discover" their hands but it's just that coupled with the fussiness, not sleeping well, trouble eating- she'll fuss when she latches and then remove herself from the boob after just a few minutes and refuse to go back... Then half an hour later she's at it again. Momma is tired!!

And all 3 of mine. None got teeth til after 9 months (but I did get to hear people diagnose them as definitely teething for that whole time). Fussiness is likely just a phase.

When did your baby start teething?
It's possible but those things also generally happen at that age. Hayley did the same but didn't get her first tooth until 8.5 months later.
