Formula?
DD recently started daycare and they mentioned that she sometimes refuses her bottle. I think it's because she's distracted and wants to play instead of eat because she doesn't do this at home.
Anyway, I think they warm the bottle, try to give it and if she doesn't take it they save it for later. I always dump any formula that has been heated and not finished. Aren't you supposed to use it within the hour or dump it?

Only need to use it with I t he hour if she stared drinking it.

If it touches her mouth then it should be used within an hour or so. If they are heating it and she has no interest where she didn't touch they can save for later.

Depends on the formula. Read the label. With DD, once it was mixed, the formula was good for 2 hours outside the fridge or 24 hours in the fridge.
