For those that have a city mini double stroller
Hi. I'm trying to decide on which double stroller to buy. Which one is better? The gt? Is there a big difference? Does anyone have the city select? Pros? Cons?

I have and love my city select. I also have a city mini single. If you are planning on a 2nd child, then I would go with the select. I chose the city select when pregnant with DC 1 then got pregnant when she was 8 months. So I needed a double. City mini pros: lightweight, folds so easily, takes up very little room. Cons: tiny basket that's hard to get to, seat doesn't sit 100% upright, tray seems a little high City select pros: easy to steer, can be a single or double, many seating configurations, awesome basket Cons: a bit heavy, has to be taken apart to put into trunk, takes up a lot of space

I have the city mini GT double and my SIL has the city select. GT is definitely better than the regular one for a few reasons:the front tire is solid, the suspension is better overall, the brake is up on top so you can flip it with your hand, and the handle adjusts for a taller "driver" It maneuvers beautifully and it is very easy to fold and unfold, no problem. It's relatively lightweight and I love having the two separate canopies, I also love that it fully reclines. It drives really well over gravel or grass. Having said that, if I had to do it all over again, I would get the City Select! For 2 reasons: I hate hate hate the basket on the mini. It's tiny, there is an annoying bar in the way and it fits nothing. Torture. It also does not allow for any other configuration other than side by side.
City Select: you can configure it in a few different ways, the basket is great, and IMO it has better accessories. Cons:heavy and it has huge wheels. I also don't think that it drives as well as mine but I would actually take these cons over the City mini any day!

Check out the b agile double. Really similar to the city mini but the basket is accessible from the front through zippers which is awesome. It handles so nicely, folds easily, and I liked the buckles much better than the baby jogger's.

We have the regular city mini double. I love it, didn't see a need for the GT. Only complain is the basket below, which is notoriously difficult to get things in and out of.

We have the regular city mini double. I couldn't justify getting the City Select once I had my second DS - I didn't think I would get enough use out of it as a double.
I love the City Mini. The GT wasn't an option yet when I got it. If your kids are on the taller side, I would go with the GT as it's a bit roomier.
My boys are 6 and 4 and on the smaller side and still fit comfortably in the City Mini double.
