What would you do regarding double stroller?
So I'm trying to figure out what makes most sense for a double stroller. My DS will be 18 months when number 2 arrives.
Currently, I have a 2013 uppababy vista but do NOT have a compatible car seat and need to buy the rumble seat. I hear the reviews are poor on the pre 2015 model of this stroller as a double. Price of new car seat and rumble is about $400 :/ ekkkk. actually probably more because I'll need an additional base and God only knows what UB gets for that.
I was thinking making it just makes sense to get the City Select and get rid of the UBV. The city select gets better reviews as a double than the 2013 UBV. More seating options too. Plus my car seat is compatible with the adapter. It's probably the slightly more expensive option. Like $500-$550.
But I really love the UBV as a single...

I have select and city mini, I prefer (and the kids do too) the mini. It's lighter and easier to get in and out of the trunk.
I did love using the bassinet feature on the select with the glider board tho...

I also have the UBV and I did not think the rumble seat was going to be practical after taking a look at it. I got the double city mini jogger through a FB buy/sell group and let me tell you, the thing is awesome. It's way easier to fold and handle than the UBV. It kind of irritated me after all the money I spent on the UBV. I'm going to have buy a bracket for the car seat though.

How old is your oldest? I'd wait & see if you can swing it with a single.

My oldest was 2.5 when DD was born. We had the City Mini Double and it was perfect. I'd recline it all the way down and put an infant insert to support her head. By the time she was a few months old we didn't even need that. Now my kids are 1 and 3 and we still use the CMD for long walking trips.
