Best place for a swing set

Where did you get your backyard swinset? I saw the Walmart website has very good price but can I pay someone to install it? Others I have seen look very nice but are anywhere from $1-3K. Hoping to get a better price but I do want quality. Any recomendations?

We got ours from Costco. DH is a contractor and put it together himself. Took about a day in a half or less. Not fun!! I know people hired companies to do it in a day. A friend said she hired these guys from Amish country and they were fast and reasonable.

We went with Wood Kingdom, no complaints. Costco has some really nice sets and they do install some of them, so that's another option.

We bought from TRU. An outside company delivers it and can install. Some sets cost for installation and some where included. It was very cheap to install, if I remember correctly, and it was done in under 2 hours. Totally worth it IMO.

the brand Big Backyard is a common brand that is sold many places (likeToys R Us, Costco, BJs, Walmart) and is really well priced!
You can pay to have installation if you purchase in store - not sure if the websites offer installation when purchasing

Gorilla Playsets is supposed to be a step up from Big Backyard (they use thicker wood); they can be purchased at Coscto and some websites like overstock.com (which you can occasionally find a coupon to use so you can get a decent deal - a $999 set for $799 if you get a 20% off that works - plus free shipping and no tax). Gorilla Playsets has companies listed on their website to do the installation, but it runs around $350 or so

Superior playsets are supposed to be a step above Gorilla, but i believe are over $1,500 in pricing

There is also Rainbow Play Systems which I believe is a mid range brand, but do not know much about

Check Craig's List. We got ours last year off of there. It's a Wood Kingdom set that retails for $3K. I know that because we were looking at the exact set before seeing it on Craig's List. We paid $140 for it. My DH had to spend about $100 at home depot to replace some boards and re-stain it. It looked brand new after he powerwashed and stained it. The only downside to it was that DH had to go with a friend, take it apart and then put it back together. It took them the better part of the day to do all of that.

Best place for a swing set

We got ours at Walmart (backyard discovery one) and it's great. It's perfect for my two kids and I ordered a baby swing seat separately from Amazon. I think the quality is fine and we've had no issues with it. My husband put it together himself over a few days. He just did different sections and then assembled it all together

We got ours at Creative Playthings. 4 years later it is still in great condition. No complaints.

Best place for a swing set

We got ours at Walmart and my DH and brother put it together. Took them about 5 hours. I called 2 different companies to assemble it and they were both expensive (relative to the cost of the set). To be honest, the set was cheap and I don't expect it to last forever. We've only had it a year and some of the wood has splits in it already.

We got ours at Costco. Nice quality. DD LOVES it.
DH put it together alone. Took him like a week to do it because he works so he would do it at night when he got home. Then 1 full weekend he did it for probably like 2 half days.

Wood Kingdom. We got a great deal on a floor model. They installed it and do service on it once a year.

The Lifetime brand ones look great! We are getting ready to tear down the wooden Backyard Adventures brand one (we've had it for 7 years now and it's junk at this point..but we had a great run with it). I'm looking into the Lifetime ones since they are great for older kids (as well as younger) Check them out on Amazon. Great reviews.

Re: Best place for a swing set

We just had ours installed yesterday. We used
Njswingset.com after our terrible experience with toys r us. It is amazing! While we did pay $2k, we got everything they could ever want, and my DH and I can actually play on it lol. We had 6-7 kids on it at once yesterday and there was so much room. After seeing what toys r us was selling, I'm glad they messed up and gave us wrong boxes bc the wood was garbage compared to this. They do have lower priced sets as well and the owner will custom make things to fit a budget, so I would give them a call!

We used Wood Kingdom...we've had ours for 7 years and we are very happy with the quality. They installed it for us. One time our landscaper broke a piece when he hit it with his mower and they came out and replaced it for no charge.
