What sizes should I put on my registry? Newborn 1 2 3??? When does the baby grow out of those? Who sells the cheapest by the way.

I wouldn't register for diapers. Some kids never fit in newborn. Some kids are in newborn for a few weeks, some a month or 2. It's really hard to gauge. Also your baby may have a reaction to a certain diaper.

Cheapest I've found are Luvs through Amazon family or sometimes target has a great deal on up & up.

My dd1 was in newborn diapers forever, and dd2 is already in size 2 at 2.5 mos (despite only 25%ile for weight). It's hard to gauge, and it's hard to know what brand diapers work best. Dd1 could only use pampers. We haven't tried anything else yet with dd2. I find the best price is Amazon subscribe and save if you are a prime member.

I'd say, if you do want to register, to put one box of 1 and one box of 2 on there.

I'd put a small box of newborn, and size 1. You know your baby will grow into size 1 or s/he may be in size 1 almost immediately. Or just do size 1. Hospitals only give size 1s, so all their newborns wear size 1. Big is ok. Small isn't.

DS was in newborn for a few weeks. DD for at least a month. She's very long and lean, so at 10 months, she's still wearing size 2s.

My DC was never in newborn diapers since she was born at almost 9lbs so I would register for size 1

skip newborn and put size 1
when my kids were born the hospital used size 1 diapers for all newborns (unless they were in the nicu)

I wouldn't register for diapers. I started with the Pampers Swaddlers because that's what the hospital used. I then decided to try Luvs to save some money because they are significantly cheaper. The Luvs size 1 fit DD awesome -- she never leaked or had a poop explosion they couldn't contain. I rushed out during sales and coupons and bought value sized boxes in the next sizes up. Well, when DD sized up to size 2's, the Luvs no longer fit her. They were super narrow and she leaked all the time. I switched back to Swaddlers, but am now considering a switch to Cruisers now that DD is almost walking.
