Restaurant reservation question
Does anyone know why this would happen:
I called a restaurant today to make a reservation for Friday, March 18th - so well over a week away. I asked for a 7:00 reservation and was told that time was not available, but they could take a reservation for 6:45. That just seemed so odd to me, that they can seat us at 6:45 but not 7:00. Does it really make that much of a difference?

Re: Restaurant reservation question
Sounds right to me.. Open Table has reservations in 15 min increments.

Re: Restaurant reservation question
Yes. They stagger times so they don't flood the kitchen all at once. You will be ordering apps while the next reservation is ordering their drinks.
Not a nice answer but I'm sure you can show up at 7 and they will seat you.
