Anniversary Trip Help
Where would you go for 2 nights...no kids, just DH and I? We don't really want to spend too much time traveling and would rather have more time to do things. Its for our 10th anniversary and we can only leave the kids for 2 nights. We're planning to go in August. Thanks!!

Anniversary Trip Help
If you could swing maybe one more night... Charleston, SC was a great mom/dad weekend for us last year lots of great restaurants for quiet kid free dinners, just walking around the city was awesome... Carriage rides, etc. we really had a great relaxing time! It's about a 90 minute flight maybe?

What type of things do you like to do? Do you want beach and pool? Touring a new city? Nightlife?

We're beach people, and spend every weekend on the beach, but we are open to anything. The less I spend here, the more I get to spend on another family trip this fall, so that is a consideration. I'd rather not fly, just because we haven't left our girls before and don't totally feel comfortable yet.

Anniversary Trip Help
We just went through them same decisions. It's our 10th this summer too and we have never left the kids (we left my daughter once 4 years ago lol). Now we have 2 and I never left both of them. We were looking into so many different trips (with kids and without). We had decided on 3 nights in Bermuda without the kids and when it came time to book and chickened out (I'm nuts I know lol) I felt too nervous flying without them and knew it was going to be stressed and it wasn't how I wanted to go. So we looked into so many places and I stumbled upon Newport Rhode Island. And fell in love with it. We are doing 3 nights. Leaving late morning the first day so that we can give the kids breakfast and get them settled before we take them to my parents house (with Bermuda we had a really early flight and it was adding on another night that they needed to sleep at my parents ). We booked a beautiful B and B gets amazing reviews (we are VERY picky). Consider Newport if you want. I heard the restaurants are awesome too, cliff walk, mansions, beach
