Moms of 4-questions for you
I'm nearly 6 months pregnant with my 3rd and a few acquaintances of mine are already encouraging me to go for a 4th (they have 4 kids) and said going from 3-4 is really not much of a difference. Now I'm not even sure of I'm entertaining the idea of a 4th, especially considering my 3rd isn't hee yet, but what has your experience been like? DD will be 4.5 when #3 gets here and ds will be nearly 3.5 when #3 arrives

Moms of 4-questions for you
I dont have 4 but just had my 3rd. I've always wanted 4 kids but now that I have 3 kids, I can honestly say I'm done. I think 4 would be too much for me bc I really don't have much help. So I say see how you feel once you get to that point.

Re: Moms of 4-questions for you
Well I've only been a mom of 4 for a week, so I'm sure things will get harder. But I can honestly say it's been a wonderful week, I have a 7 yo, 5 yo and 2 yo and they are so in love with him. He is the perfect addition to our family and I love that they will always have someone to play with. I was the last of 3 and hated it bc someone was always left out, so I knew we would try for 4, and we couldn't be happier!

Re: Moms of 4-questions for you
We have 4 boys - 5yo, 2.5yo twins and a 4mo. Our situation is a bit different because we have twins, but going from 3 to 4 hasn't been as difficult or stressful as everyone told me it would be. It has actually been a pleasure! The baby is so chill and going from twin babies to a singleton just seemed so much easier, too. The only thing that really seems to be a bit of a change is now we have to book 2 hotel rooms or a suite for vacations since most hotels can only accommodate 5 per room. Also, the car situation is different because a standard 5 seater is no longer an option. Baby number 4 wasn't "planned", but I honestly felt like we weren't done with our 3 boys. Everything happens for a reason as they say... I believe he was meant to be here and now that he is, I can confidently say we are 100% done and our family is complete. I would wait and see how you feel with 3... once baby is here, you might feel like your family is complete. Good Luck!!

Thanks! Absolutely. I can't make that decision to be done yet. I was considering having my tubes tied during my csection but dh thinks it's too permanent. I just wanted to see other people's experiences. Thanks all!

If you're unsure, definitely don't. I tied mine after baby #4.

Re: Moms of 4-questions for you
I will say certain things get harder. The logistics of it all. Vacations get very expensive. Most places don't allow you to book 6 occupants to a room. Forget beaches turks and caicos unless you have 18k to spend on a weeks vacation lol. That's the most recent trip we couldn't book.
Things are more expensive.. obviously. Everything times four. Back to school shopping for four, four Halloween costumes, four birthday parties each year etc. Obviously that is as cheap or as expensive as you choose to make it... but even going cheap things really add up... oh and food. When they get older.. groceries or even better going out to a restaurant as a family of 6 or the movies You get thrifty!

Thank you! I definitely will be, too, should we decide #4 is right for us

Moms of 4-questions for you
I'm in the same boat. I just had my 3rd a few weeks ago and while I was pregnant I swore we were done. My DH was going to get a vasectomy. I didn't have an easy pregnancy and I couldn't have imagined doing it again but now that she's here I am entertaining the idea of a 4th. My 3 are young...all under 4 and I know it would be totally nuts but I just don't feel done. For now we are holding off on the vasectomy and I'll be starting the pill. It's just not a decision I can make right now.
