Swimming Lesson Recommendations-Suffolk (North Shore)

I'd REALLY like to see my 4.5 year old DD swimming this summer. We have a pool and she's just still not comfortable in the water. HATES going under.

She went to Saf-T-Swim in Smithtown last year and made no progress after months of being there, so I'd like to try someplace different. Any recommendations? TIA

I would not recommend the program at the World Gym in Setauket. The instructors were good and my daughter did great but the sessions were cancelled a lot due to a bunch of crazy excuses. My daughter was signed up for 6 lessons and it took over almost three months to complete them because of all of the cancellations. I think she would have done even better if they did not cancel there was no consistency and the director of the program quit half way through it was a mess.
