Quitting Job and Getting Cold Shoulder
So I gave notice last week. Two of the supervisors were on vacation at the time. They both returned this week and neither has made an attempt to talk to me. When there is office chit chat going on and I join in, I get an actual eye roll from one, which throws me off because the two of us were friendly and would have conversations daily.
When I gave notice I spoke directly to the director of the dept. During the conversation he asked me my thoughts on what type of influence this particular supervisor has on the newer employees. At the time I said there is negative and positive and gave reasons.
Do you think I should say something to the director. I have my exit interview with HR on Friday. Maybe I should bring it up then? Since I gave notice two employees have made comments about the cold shoulder this manager is giving me. I just feel like the morale in the dept is going down the tubes because of this type of behavior.

They are acting unprofessionally. If prompted, I would mention any prior issues in exit interview
Unfortunately what you're experiencing isn't all that uncommon. It's almost like people take it personally that you want to move on.

what would you say to the director, it was he/she you told. Do you mean tell him/her about the cold shoulder?
if you are leaving does it matter at this point what they think. You already mentioned an issue. Im sure it feels uncomfortable but I think you should leave it. Good luck in your new job

Re: Quitting Job and Getting Cold Shoulder
The director likely went back to them with your feedback. If anything negative was said, that's your reason. Just get through it and don't say anything during your exit interview but positive.

Quitting Job and Getting Cold Shoulder
When I left my job for another in the same company but different office, my boss did not speak to me either. It was childish. He and I worked together for 5 years, 12 hours a day and talked emailed every weekend. We were definitely a team but he screwed me on my bonus which I gave him a chance to rectify and he did not and he was also a male chauvinist pig, for example we'd walk into a meeting, him our director and me with our CEO going over a project we were doing. He would walk in and introduce himself and the male director and completely ignore me. I'd have to introduce myself. So I transferred to a new manager who immediately gave me a $30,000 raise and tripled my bonus the next cycle. His loss and he made himself look like a jerk. I wouldn't say anything and just be glad your leaving.
