Fav place to shop for holiday gifts
Besides Amazon
I have gotten some things at Target. Was at Toys R Us last weekend bc they had a big, grand opening by us for some upcoming bdays, but for some reason wasn't as impressed with the selection. I find more at Target and better prices.
The Toy Genius places are great, but sooo pricey.
Anyplace else you like to get toys? Most of the stuff I have bought for the boys are pajamas, new place settings for dinner (Star Wars plates, cups, placemats, etc), pajamas, games, personalized books, etc.
Haven't really gotten them toys yet bc they get so much from their grandparents and aunts and uncles.
I want to get a few toys for them to open, but like to see it in person even if I wind up ordering online.
We do a gift a night and want the boys to have a couple of toys to open besides books and pajamas. LOL!

I only shop online.
What I have been seeing, at least on the toys DD wants or I want to get her, is that most stuff is almost priced fix.
I check Amazon, Walmart, Target and Toys R Us.
And they are all usually the same price- within a few cents or a dollar
Toys R Us is always a bit more pricey and sometimes up to $10 more for the same toy! So I do avoid them.
I usually end up with Target because I have the red card. So 5% off and free shipping on every single thing.
So even though it's the same price on Amazon with free shipping with Prime, I go with Target because of the 5% off with my red card

I do most of my holiday shopping thru ebates so I can find the best cash back and coupons. I don't shop at one specific store all the time.

I've gotten almost everything online from kohls so far. When you can stack offers their prices really can be amazing.
Another good one is acmoore. They regularly have 50 or 55 percent off coupons and if you can add a teacher discount even better. I get lots of Melissa and Doug toys there and craft sets.

Also disney store had 25 percent off right now. I don't usually order from them but got a great deal on something for my 3yo yesterday.

kohls has great prices...tomorrow you can stack $10 off $25 and 30% (if you have a kohls cc)
I also get things from Amazing Savings and Target has good sales (i just took advantage of their offer to buy 2 board games, get 1 free)

The thing with Kohl's is that their "regular" prices are jacked WAY up so that when you use the coupons, etc it comes down to a normal price.
I once saw the exact same toy I bought for DD in Target for like $40 more in kohl's- no joke
It's their marketing plan so you feel like you are getting a great deal with all the coupons but at the end of the day, it's about the same

Yes there regular prices are high but I always double check against amazon and only buy if it's a better deal which it often is. Kind of like carters. Regular prices are insane but you never pay full anyway and with coupons and discounts they usually have the best prices. I also like that kohls is great with returns.

I plan on hitting up Marshalls. Otherwise, I only shop online so Amazon is the way to go.

I price match Amazon in target and than get an extra 5% off. For stuff target doesn't carry I'll check Costco or Amazon or price match at toys r us.

Target has a good sale online today 20% off your Disney toy/clothes more than $50 and if you use your target card get an additional 5%.
