Clothes steamer

Hey guys
I'm thinking about buying a steamer because I hate ironing
I always get wrinkles on one side when I'm ironing the other lol

Any recommendations?

Also, do you think it could be used to steam clean furniture every once in a while?

I have a steamer. I just went on Amazon and read the reviews. There are so many. I didn't pick a cheap one nor a super expensive one.

I still iron though. I use it for those clothes that can't be ironed like silk, cashmere, etc. I have also used it on my drapes.

The steamer though is not for cleaning just for getting out wrinkles so I would never use it on my furniture. I called Sears when I wanted my couches cleaned.

I have a little $20 one from BBB that works great. Good for travel too.

Re: Clothes steamer

A steamer will not get out wrinkles like an iron will.
I use the steamer to touch up, when I take clothes out of my closet or to take fold marks out of sweaters.
I have a Rowen travel model.

Re: Clothes steamer

I have a shark. It definitely doeSnt get the wrinkles out and press clothes like an iron does, but good for general wrinkliness. I got it because I hate ironing and, Lo and behold, I hate steaming just as much.

I've never had problems getting wrinkles out with my steamer. I have not ironed in years.

I have this too! I love it! I barely use my iron anymore.
