Is this some type of identity theft?
For the past few months I have been receiving mail with my address but someone else's name. At first I thought maybe it was just a mistake so I tossed it (junk mail). Then I received another piece of mail addressed to this woman and it was a new Visa card. The other day I received a gap bill addressed to her. She is clearly using my address bc I am receiving mail from different companies. I grew up in this house so it is definitely not someone who previously lived here. I should also mention that I received another piece of mail with a different name on it over the summer but just sent it back. What is going on?????

Could be an honest mistake or an issue.
I'd call the 3 credit agencies and check and also put a watch or freeze on my credit to be on the safe side

ID theft usually involves your name. People's addresses change a lot but the name and social security number is verifiable. It could be identity theft for the person named on the letters and they are using your address so that person doesn't find out.

I agree.
Since it's not addressed to your name, I wouldn't put fraud alerts on your credit. Put "return to sender/not at this address" on the envelope and send the mail back. The credit card company can deal with it from there.
