I never know how much food to get!

I never know how much food to get and always have so much extra. I decided to scale things down and now I don't think I have enough. We are expecting 31 adults, 8 kids

I have these full trays
- Chicken franchase
- Rice pilaf
- Mac and Cheese
- Chicken fingers
also medium salad and 5 feet of cold hero

We are making:
- 1/2 tray sausage and peppers
- 1/2 tray lasagna

We also have snacks/apps (chips, dips, cheese platter, pigs in a blanket etc.)

I think I need to add another 1/2 tray entree and a 1/2 tray side? What do you think?

Thanks! I'm sorry for posting this!

You're good to go!

Edited to add: I would make that sausage and pepper a full tray, that's a crowd fave. And bc of the hero no, I don't think you need more. There's enough plus variety.

I'm always the person who has way too much food, and I think you have it covered.

I always over order and I think you have a good amount of food.

I would switch the halfs to full and make it a penne or ziti rather than a lasagna

This. You definitely do not have enough lasagna. Even if you cut it small i would only be about 20 pieces. You get a better bang for the buck with a penne or baked ziti.

I agree - 3 full trays (chicken, S&P and pasta). I'd be too worried about running out of food with one full and 2 half trays

I agree with switching to penne or ziti. I also might add a hot veggie as a side.
