how do I keep apples from browning?
My kids have to bring apples to school tomorrow. Peeled and cored. How do I keep the apples from browning? Will the be ok if I peel them and core them tonight?

Lemon juice will slow down the browning but I am not sure for how long

Tied with a rubber band, dip the exterior in lemon juice. It would be like one of those chocolate oranges. Then wrap in saran wrap and foil.
