Anyone ever bought furniture from West Elm?
I am eyeing this Chest of Drawers.
Not sure about the handles though. I feel like that would be a pain. So wondering if anyone bought anything from them and if their quality is generally good.
I do have some things from that store but mostly just decorative pieces from 12 years ago.

I find that there stuff can be hit or miss, but it's usually decent. I'd suggest checking out their outlet store though - you can get things that are currently on sale at a discounted price. My sister got a TV stand from there (I think it was a floor sample) at a deep discount but it wasn't damaged or anything.

I just bought my first furniture items from them (not this, terrace night stands) and I'm mailing them back. They looked very cheap.

Re: Anyone ever bought furniture from West Elm?
I have purchased a few pieces of furniture from them. I have a dresser, two nightstands, and a bed/headboard. I have found the quality to be very good but I also don't love the drawers. I guess I'm just used to the utility of Ikea drawers (since that was the dresser I had used previously) that had ball bearings and fully extended so you could reach the back of the drawer. My West Elm dresser doesn't do that (although the nightstand drawers do have ball bearings and they are from the same collection, so that was confusing). I would definitely purchase from them again.
I also found their customer service to be very helpful - when I ordered my bed the headboard came first and when it looked like the frame was going to be significantly delayed they authorized a credit for a metal mattress frame until my actual bed came in.

I purchased a very expensive comforter set from them that feel apart in less than a year. They replaced it once and it still fell apart. I'm not sure about their furniture but it has left a bad taste in mouth about the company.

I have some stuff from them... a chandelier, two couches, a media console, two end tables, a bathroom rug, bathroom towels... I like the style, but the quality can be hit or miss. The bigger items like the couches and media console have held up very well. However, the chandelier's chrome tarnished within a year, and the bathroom rug frayed rather quickly. As with most furniture stores, you're not going to get longevity and quality of solid hardwood (as you would with Room & Board, for example), but I like the style for the price especially when things are on sale.
