Private schools and attendance
I was under the assumption that schools (K-12) in NYS need to be in session 180 days per year. My nieces (they live in Manhattan and attend private school) are going for only 156.
With everything with Common Core, how can the quality of education be the same when some kids go to school for 30 less than others?

Some private schools don't follow common core at all, so there's that/

Private schools and attendance
Hours may be different too-I work at a private school, and our day is about an hour longer than public schools.
