have you ever received a DIY/hand made gift that you REALLY liked? if so, what was it?

Two.

My cousin made us a beautiful photo album for our engagement party with pictures of us growing up.

DH's great aunt made us a recipe book. It was a binder with page protectors, but she wrote a heartfelt letter in the front and notes throughout. She stayed up until 3 am finishing it the morning of my bridal shower. It's simple, but it was meaningful, and we still add to it.

I loved the gift my cousin gave me when she asked me to be a bridesmaid in her wedding- It was a rectangular metal box and on the inside lid was a photo collage of old pics of us as babies. Inside was a mason jar with my name on it and was filled with my favorite candy. On the top of the lid of the box was a chalkboard sign with a hook and it had my name on it. The sign/hook will be used on the day of her wedding to hang my bridesmaid dress up for pictures.

Such a cute idea, and so very creative!

A baby blanket for my ds. He still uses it, hes almost 4. As for me someone made me a pair of slippers. I live in them lol. My feet are always cold

my DH's great aunt and cousin crochet beautiful blankets. they made us one for our wedding, and then 2 for DS when he was born. We still have them. they are really well made beautiful blankets.
