How many pairs of shoes do your toddlers/preschoolers have/how many do you get annually?

My 5 year old has:
Sneaker
Twinkle toes
A Mary Jane/Cienta type
Fall boot
Dance shoes
She needs a rain boot
She'll need a snow boot
2 pairs of water shoes for camp
Flip flops
Fancy sandal (was a waste)
Casual sandal (she barely wore bc she was in camp and wore sneakers daily)
Last year she also had a shoe similar to toms in addition to all the above

My 4 year old boy has
Sperry
Sneaker
Rain boot
Snow boot
Cleats
Water shoes
Keens
Flip flops (were a total waste)

Seems like a lot!!!

Re: Shoes

My twins had/

Brown riding boots
Brown suede boots
Black uggs (fake)
Snow boots (worn once)
Pink converse
Pink gap loafers
Water shoes (bought 2 but wore 1)
Flip flops -never worn)
Pink dress
Denim dress
Gold dress
Silver dress (wore on Xmas eve and for dance)
White sandals
Gold gladiators

All winter they mostly wore the riding boots
All summer was mostly the water shoes outside bc we don't go out much other than the backyard. Occasionally the white sandals.

I'm cutting way down this year. It's ridiculous!! These aren't counting a few they had hand me down or ones that didn't fit and I never returned.

Re: Shoes

Let's see...

Fall/winter are:
Sneakers
Casual maryjanes
Black dressy shoes
Snow boots

Spring/summer are:
Everyday sports sandal
Dressier (but still comfy/practical) sandal
Flop flops or water shoes
Depending on occasions, possibly dressy white shoes (ie this year we had a bunch of formal occasions so I got a pair at Payless, last year there was no need)

My son is five and has always had one pair of sneakers, loafers, crocs and a pair of snow boots

He has wide feet and wears orthotics so it's not like there's a ton of stuff available

Now for kindergarten we've got
One pair fancy sneakers (gray new balance)
Two pairs regular sneakers
One pair loafers for church
One pair sperry that I happened to find on sale
One pair crocs
One pair rain boots
One pair snow boots

Snowboots in the winter, Crocs & flip flops in the summer

Wow. For my 2.5 year old son, he has a pair of water shoes, sandals and sneakers. That's it. In winter, he has snow boots and 1-2 pairs of sneakers. His feet grow so quickly if I had more than that he'd never wear them!

Re: Shoes

I am SOOO not a shoe person for DD
She get 2 pairs of good shoes a season and then Crocs in the summer and some cheapy "leather" type boots in the winter if it goes with an outfit etc
Oh and a cheap pair of dressy shoes to wear for Christmas

I barely even buy her snow boots as she hates being out in the snow

Shoes are such a waste because they literally get ONE season out of them

At 5 she still couldn't care less so I am gong to milk that as long as I can

I usually buy. 2 pairs sneakers every 3 months as she changes sizes faster then I blink.

Then snow boots, a pair of dress shoes, 2 pairs water shoes. Crocs, dressy and non dressy sandal. I'm looking for ug like boots right now as they are cute.

Re: Shoes

My almost 7 year old has
1 pair of sneakers
1 pair of dress shoes
a few pairs of cheap flip flops
1 pair of snow boots

My 1 year old has
3 pairs of sneakers (all three were hand me downs from my nephew who didn't wear any of them)
a pair of flip flops
a pair of sandals
a pair of closed toe sandals

Ill be buying him a pair of dress shoes and boots. I don't bother with rain boots because half the time, we aren't home when it starts raining.

Right now she has:
5 pairs of sneakers--3 pairs are going to be gotten rid of in the next month or so because they are becoming too small

2 pairs of water shoes for camp

2 pairs flip flops

A pair of casual shoes
Tap shoes and ballet shoes for dance school
For the holidays I buy her a pair of dressy shoes to go with her dress
The winter she gets snow boots because she loves to go in the snow.
