Take a small paper cup, shove stick through bottom of the cup. Wrap stick with napkin. Eat from top down. Cup will catch drips.

You can also use a coffee filter as it is thicker material than a napkin in place of the small cup. The kind I mean are the 2 oz cups for kids.

Ok, DH and I were at the hall and oats concert a few weeks back and both got ice cream cones and mine melted and got everywhere! He kept teasing me all night. I don't know the trick, but I don't eat fast enough. That's why I usually as for the ice cream in a cup and for them to put the cone on top - happy ending style (giggity).

This why my mom only let me get an cup of ice cream & not a cone until I was practically in high school!

I have learned that soft-serve is messier, and if you put sprinkles on it, it drips faster.

DH & I used to joke that certain days were too hot for ice cream & I always wanted to get ice cream when it it was freezing out.

its hard to enjoy or savor if your stuffing it down your throat. That is what I usually do, eat it so fast before it melts lol
