best shampoo and cond
what shampoo and cond do you use fro knotty hair? DD is 5 and has long beautiful thick hair. It's more adult hair then kid fine hair if you kwim. She gets these terrible little knots. I have the wet brush and detangler spray but I need something more. Any suggestions?

Re: best shampoo and cond
My daughter has very curly hair.
I use suave shampoo and conditioner in one, then either Aussie Moist conditioner or Loreal Kids conditioner. I use a wide comb and comb the conditioner through her hair and rinse. I sometimes use the Johnson & Johnson leave in conditioner detangler and comb through her hair.
There are more expensive stuff out there but these seem to work for now. I also wash her hair every other day ... she is 3.

best shampoo and cond
Honest company seems to tame dd's knots and we recently started using organix (from Harmon) oil and things are better

The best de tangler ive found is the Johnson and Johnson leave-in cream one,so much better than any of the sprays I've tried.

Re: best shampoo and cond
My girls both hair down to their butts that is really thick. I shampoo their hair with Johnson and Johnson thick and curly (the blue bottle) and condition with dove quench conditioner. I only condition from the ears down this way it won't go near their eyes. When they come out of the bath I use Johnson and Johnson no more tangles leave in conditioner. I let their hair air dry if there is time, or blow dry it until its not soaked and either braid it loosely or tie it back loosely. I find that if they sleep with it loose its very hard to brush in the am.
