SO MUCH TO SAY
let me begin with... work just moved locations and there are no filters on the internet!!! yay! this means that i can FINALLY spend some quality time on LIF 
ok, now for an update...
at 2:17am pacific time, this morning, i hugged and kiss my baby boy goodbye as he was picked up by his recruiting officer to FINALLY go off to basic training and become a marine.
i'm officially an empty nester and my emotions/thoughts have been all over the place all day long.
i can't believe this day is here. DS had some issues in prepping for basic training and his ship off date (which originally was 6/1) had been pushed back to October and i wasn't sure if he had it in him to meet the physical qualifications... but here we are.
i think i'm going to sooth myself by doing some online window shopping for "my son is a marine" merchandise
