Bayside - 2 yr old activity?
Meeting family for dinner near LIRR in Bayside. Looking for something in area to do during the day (will have my car). Or, is there a park to play or take a walk after dinner? None of us live nearby, just meeting sort of halfway. Thanks!

The queens zoo is not much further and a great place for that age. Maybe 20 minutes further west.

Crocheron park is not too far (but you need to drive-probably like 5 min).
Bay Terrace shopping center is on 26th and Bell (5 min by car) to walk around in.

There's a beautiful park in Whitestone on 3rd avenue. Theres sprinklers so bring a change of clothes for them. The kids can walk down by the water also. Google Francis Lewis Park and you can get the exact address.
Edit to add you can also walk around Fort Totten park. There's no playground but it's a nice open area on the water.

FYI - there is a playground there.

Crocheron Park on 35th Avenue is great, there's a great playground area and they sometimes have the sprinklers on for the kids. I used to walk my DD there every day when we used to live there.
Fort Totten is also really nice, there's no playground but it's beautiful to walk around (under the Throgs Neck Bridge).
There are also lots of kid-friendly places to eat up and down Bell Blvd. if you wanted to walk back from the park that way.

Great tips!! On bell is maggie moos and red mango too. Crocheron is he and if you go down all the way you can cross a pedestrian bridge and walk along the cross island
