Ho boy- need advice from parents who travel

We have a wedding to attend in Canada and we are considering flying - with a 5 year old and a one year old

And a husband lol

Never done this before- what should I bring- car seat? Stroller? Pack n play ? All three?
Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated!!


Eta: we would be staying In a hotel 20 minutes away from the airport and staying in a city with subways and cabs so I think I'm not going to take a car seat.
Am I nuts?

I almost always travel with the stroller. Never have once traveled with a PnP always used what the hotel had. Call ahead and find out so you can bring a sheet for it.

Car seat - we don't usually travel with ours. My parents have one if we go there but other places I have rented it with the car.

And remember - there are stores to buy things so I never traveled with diapers and formula. Always bought when we got places.

I travel w stroller and car seat.
Never had a problem getting a crib from a hotel.

What I do for travel is create a zip lock bag filled with activities. They are able to open a new bag every x minutes.

Snack
Aqua doodle drawing (ask for water for in flight drink)
Stickers on paper
Crayons
Large bead or candy necklace making
Tracing letters
Model magic
Dot to dot or number pictures
Mazes
One or two small toys I.e. Car, doll

Put it all in a plastic tote so when they work they can do it in the bin.
