In the past I've had a weird stuffed animal/Ty beanie baby addiction. I have, like, 80 beanie babies and I don't know what the hell to do w/them. I don't really want to donate to salvation army or one of those places b/c I'm afraid they'll be tossed - I have a weird thing where I assign feelings to inanimate objects so naturally, like a nut job, I feel BAD for the items I'm giving away. Anyone know of, like, a children's hospital or something that might take these?

Try your local ambulance corps. I donated some small clean cuddly toys to our local ambulance corps and they were so grateful as they give them to kids who they have to transport or sometimes to kids who are scared as they watch their parents being transported.

I'd give them out in my classroom, but I'm not sure how college kids feel about that

Donating Toys?
I would also LOVE them for my Kindergarten students! If you think you'd like to donate them or come up with a reasonable price to sell them in a lot, please let me know

Still up for grabs! I have a box of them ready to go in my trunk!! I found a few my little ponies so I tossed those in there also. (the new ones - not 80's ponies)

Donating Toys?
A few years ago I was sending them to soldiers in Iraq who were giving them to local kids who had nothing of their own. The soldiers were stuffing them in the pockets of their clothes and handing them out when they encountered kids. I sent soooo many boxes of them.
